Ages 10-12: Our Saskatchewan

This week-long camp will cover specific themes related to Saskatchewan's history and current issues. Topics covered will include prehistory, people of our province, Saskatchewan in 1905, political history, and current issues in Saskatchewan.

Campers at Our Saskatchewan will consider political history and current issues. There will be opportunities for discussion and debate.

On each day of the camp, campers will meet at the Diefenbaker Canada Centre (9 a.m. drop-off point) and once all are gathered, walk to the Little Stone Schoolhouse for morning programming. The morning will include a 45 minute physical activity event, along with a “hands on” learning activity. Lunch will be one hour in length and will include a walk back to the Diefenbaker Canada Centre. Each afternoon will involve a visit to a site on campus or a visit from an expert on the topic of the day. Campers will return to the Diefenbaker Canada Centre for pickup at 4:00 p.m. On the final day of camp, parents/care providers will be invited to arrive earlier for a camp wrap-up

Refund Policy

To recover admin costs, there is a $50 non-refundable cancellation fee. For cancellations of less than two weeks prior to the start of the camp, no refund will be given. A full refund will be provided if the camp is cancelled.
