This workshop is for children interested in nature and art. Learn how to make beautiful nature installations, create artistic rubbings and capture nature impressions in clay. For parents who could enjoy a break while their child is occupied and having fun or just hover nearby and be inspired as well.
Material Required:
Material Required:
* Natural items from the child’s backyard such as: leaves, flowers, twigs, cones berries, pine needles, small rocks, grass etc. Please have approximately 24 items so that you have lots to create with and choose from.
* Tray
* Camera or smart phone with camera
* Paper 8.5" x 11"
* Wax crayons that have been peeled
* Pencils & pencil crayons
* Scissors
* Glue
* Clay: needs to be earthen clay, grey, white or reddish brown (Dollarama, Hues, Michaels, etc)
* Small rolling pin
* Easy wipe surface
* Tweezers
* Bowl of water
* Cloth, board, cardboard or plate on which to lay finished tiles to dry
* Scarf or cloth of some kind for game
Please have snack(s) and water bottle/drink(s) available.
