This week-long camp will cover specific themes including prehistory, our natural world, people of our province, settlement, and Saskatchewan today.
Campers at My Saskatchewan will end the week by reflecting on everything they have experienced over the week and expressing what makes them proud of their home province, Saskatchewan.
On each day of the camp, campers will meet at the Diefenbaker Canada Centre (9 a.m. drop-off point) and once all are gathered, walk to the Little Stone Schoolhouse for morning programming. The morning will include a 45 minute physical activity event, along with a “hands on” learning activity. Lunch will be one hour in length and will include a walk back to the Diefenbaker Canada Centre. Each afternoon will involve a visit to a site on campus or a visit from an expert on the topic of the day. Campers will return to the Diefenbaker Canada Centre for pickup at 4:00 p.m. On the final day of camp, parents/care providers will be invited to arrive earlier for a camp wrap-up
To recover administration costs, there is a $50 non-refundable cancellation fee. For cancellations of less than two weeks prior to the start of the camp, no refund will be given. A full refund will be provided if camp is cancelled.
