Program Overview
Improve your ability to use data analytics in business decision-making processes
In this program, participants will learn how to analyze data, build models, and interpret analytical results based on data from their own organization. Participants will obtain hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel. The program will explore descriptive analytics (what is the data trying to tell me?) and predictive analytics (what is likely to occur?). The program engages participants and facilitates learning through more than simply “plugging into formulas”. Participants will perform data cleaning, evaluate results, and recognize how one can effectively communicate key insights to stakeholders. The concepts of creating analytical models, calculating results, and conveying findings are important in an organization’s analytical initiatives. Ultimately, good data with correct calculations leads to improved decision-making.
