Populations of songbirds in North America are steadily and dramatically declining. Places that once rang out with bird song are now silent. A whole generation is growing up that would not recognize the call of the meadowlark or the singing of a wren. As gardeners, we have an opportunity to make positive change in our neighbourhoods and our world by making our gardens, parks, and boulevards as friendly to birds as possible! This class will look at what you can do to attract birds, how you can help to create habitat for them, and which birds you might be able to observe here.
A $20 administrative fee for a full-day class, or a $10 administrative fee for a half-day class, will be charged if notice to withdraw is received up to one week before the class starts. No refunds will be processed after this time. Non-attendance does not constitute notice of withdrawal and a refund will not be issued.
