Developing Design in Painting (and Mixed Media) II
UofS Certificate of Art & Design (USCAD)
- This course continues to integrate design aesthetics/concepts with your individual approach to creating pictorial art.
- Emphasis is on personal artistic growth through suggested projects by the instructor.
- As a starting point, you may work from models and still lifes but the focus is on exploring expressive, abstract and imaginative art-making styles.
- Acrylic paint and related materials, including drawing materials, collage and found objects may be used.
- We will also explore ways to develop useful and creative working processes in the studio.
- Discussions and critiques are an important part of this class.

Prerequisite: USCAD Painting I
Refund Policy
Withdrawal from courses: Students may withdraw from a course at any time. A $50 withdrawal fee is charged for withdrawing from a course up to 2 weeks prior to course start date. No course refund is processed after this time. Non-attendance does not constitute notice of withdrawal.
