COURSE INFORMATION

French 5

For students who can express emotions, difficulties, past events, opinions, comparisons, preferences and daily activities. Use of the passé récent, futur proche, object pronouns & prepositions of place are acquired skills.

Students will master and learn to:

  •  Indicate & ask about usage of languages spoken
  •  Indicate & ask about emotions & difficulties one is experiencing
  •  Situate a short & finished action in the past
  •  Give & ask about advice
  •  Indicate & ask about a motivation
  •  Indicate & ask about one’s point of view
  •  Describe & ask about housing & house items
  •  Locate & ask about location of house items & furniture in a home
  •  Indicate & ask about preferences
  •  Make comparisons

Evaluation

Non-Credit course
Progress report provided at the completion of the class.

Assessed at French 5

Refund Policy

Refund Policy: A $75.00 withdrawal fee is charged for withdrawing from a course at least 2 weeks prior to the course start date. No course refund is processed after this time. Non-attendance does not constitute notice of withdrawal. The Arts & Sciences Languages Non-Credit Programming Unit reserves the right to cancel courses when there is insufficient enrollment, in these cases a full refund will be issued. No transfers will be allowed from one term to another term. If a class is cancelled during the term, these hours will be rescheduled and made up. However, if a student misses a class, no rescheduling or make up classes occur.
