"I just don't want the neighbours to be able to see me." This is a request that garden designers and landscapers hear a LOT. We now build two houses in the same amount of space where in previous decades we would have put just one. We have developed an almost pathological need for privacy, and as a result, people are making terrible landscaping choices. An ugly tree that grows quickly is now more coveted than a beautiful tree that grows slowly! People are planting trees where a shrub would be a better choice and putting shrubs in places where they are unable to flourish. This class will explore a variety of ways you can create a beautiful, secluded garden and how to choose plants more wisely; vines, large perennials, and even fences and walls will be examined!
This class will be live-streamed via Webex. You can participate from your phone, tablet, or computer. We encourage you to install Cisco Webex Meetings before the event starts. You will not be able to access the class until just before it starts. Class starts at 7 PM CST, Saskatchewan time, and the waiting room will open 15 minutes before class start time. Detailed instructions will be mailed to all students one hour before class time. This is a one time use number - do not share it with other people.
