Italian 1

For students who have little or no experience in speaking Italian.

Students will master and learn to:

• Introduce oneself
• Present someone using tu                   
• Present someone using lei                    
• Greet someone    
• Indicate one’s nationality                  
• Ask for someone’s nationality                               
• Spell                     
• Indicate one’s profession                    
• Ask for someone’s profession             
• Indicate one’s telephone number        
• Ask for someone’s telephone number
• Indicate where one works   
• Ask someone where they work           
• Indicate in which town or city one lives                              
• Ask someone in which town or city they live

Evaluation

Non-Credit course
Certificate of completion provided at the end of the course.

Refund Policy

NO REFUNDS once the courses have started. Withdrawing from the course prior to the first class, will result in a refund less an administrative fee of $75 + GST. The Arts and Sciences Languages Non-Credit Programming Unit reserves the right to cancel courses when there is insufficient enrollment, in these cases a full refund will be issued. No transfers will be allowed from one term to another term. If a class is cancelled during the term, these hours will be rescheduled and made up. However, if a student misses a class, no rescheduling or make up classes occur.
