Italian 2

For students who can express basic information about themselves and ask someone for that same information (name, age, address, work, profession, nationality, etc.). Counting, spelling and basic communication in class are acquired skills.

Students will master and learn to:

  • Ask & talk about leisure activities   
  • Ask & talk about what one can, must or want to do
  • Ask & talk about one's schedule
  • Make plans & express uncertainty      
  • Respond to an invitation          
  • Locate objects & people using prepositions                    
  • Ask & indicate where something is                         
  • Write & answer short messages  

Evaluation

Non-Credit course
Progress report provided at the completion of the class.

Format

Fall, Winter & Spring Terms: 1 class per week for 10 weeks, 2 hours a class.

Requisites

Assessed at Italian level 2.

To be sure this is the correct level to register in have a speaking assessment done.

Refund Policy

NO REFUNDS once course has been confirmed. Withdrawing from a course prior to the first class, will result in a refund less an administrative fee of $75 + taxes. The Arts & Sciences Languages Non-Credit Programming Unit reserves the right to cancel courses when there is insufficient enrollment, in these cases a full refund will be issued. No transfers will be allowed from one term to another term. If a class is cancelled during the term, these hours will be rescheduled and made up. However, if a student misses a class, no rescheduling or make up classes occur.
