Many well known garden plants such as tulips, lilies, and daffodils grow from bulbs, but the world of bulbous plants is much more diverse than many realize, especially here on the prairies. Lyndon will feature the most interesting bulbs he has grown and you will be amazed at the results. While there may be some familiarity (e.g. alliums), there will certainly be some you’ve never heard of, like the giant lily of the Himalayas and the magnificent tiger flower of Mexico. Can you grow snowdrops on the prairies? Or what about the beguiling blue camas? Join Lyndon for a close look at some eccentric and enthralling plants.
A $20 administrative fee for a full-day class, or a $10 administrative fee for a half-day class, will be charged if notice to withdraw is received up to one week before the class starts. No refunds will be processed after this time. Non-attendance does not constitute notice of withdrawal and a refund will not be issued. Special consideration may be given in extenuating circumstances and will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
