OEC: Measuring and Improving Operational Processes

Program Overview

Measuring and improving operations is all about implementing, and analyzing a metric system that allows organizations to measure any process in real-time. Using the Six Sigma Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control (DMAIC) framework, participants will learn how to assess defects, report metrics, and quantify waste in processes to improve operational processes for excellence. Participants will learn how to build a robust measurement system, design and improve processes that produce high-quality results, and demonstrate efficiencies through cost-saving opportunities. By addressing the gaps between the current performance and desired future performance, organizations can measure the status of any process in real-time, required to create a culture of continuous improvements and achieve their desired future state.

This program is part of the Operational Excellence Certificate.
