Whether you are a novice or experienced home gardener, diagnosing a plant problem can be difficult and frustrating. In this 2-hour workshop presented by Helen Shook (Diagnostician at Gardening at USask Gardenline) you will learn about the enquiry framework she uses to diagnose what is wrong with a plant. It's all about asking the right questions and looking beyond the obvious (like insects and diseases) and figuring out if a disorder is the underlying cause of the problem. There will be lots of case studies as well as tips on how to find credible information on the internet. Note: This is a basic, introductory level diagnostics class and is not the same class as our Master Gardner level diagnostics class. This is a person interest class only. It does not quality for certification purposes.
