The Safe Use of Pesticides is an online, on-demand course that teaches students when and how to use home pesticides safely as well as techniques to avoid pesticide use.
Included in the course is on-demand video lectures, handouts and online multiple choice testing that students can use as study tools until they are satisfied with their knowledge.
Though we are a pesticide-free program, this is a required course for Master Gardener certification since pesticide use is common and part of being a trained Master Gardener is understanding common practices and giving appropriate advice.
You have one year from the course registration date to complete the course on CANVAS, as well as other previously registered Master Gardner courses you are registered in.
