Spanish 11

For students who have successfully finished Spanish Level 10 or who have equivalent speaking, listening comprehension and grammar abilities.

Students will learn & master:

  • Hablar de hábitos y circunstancias del pasado usando Pretérito Imperfecto.
  • Hacer comparaciones.
  • Orientarse en la ciudad: preguntar y dar instrucciones para ir a un lugar.
  • Poner un anuncio en un periódico: comprar y vender por teléfono.
  • Expresar cantidades indeterminadas usando definidos variables e invariables.
  • Dar instrucciones en forma impersonal.
  • Ordenar comida en un restaurante.

Evaluation

Non-Credit course
Progress report provided at the completion of the class.

Requisites

Assessed at Spoken level Spanish 11

To be sure this is the correct level in which to register, have a speaking assessment done.

Refund Policy

NO REFUNDS once course has started. Withdrawing from a course prior to the first class, will result in a refund less an administrative fee of $75 + taxes. The Arts & Sciences Languages Non-Credit Programming Unit reserves the right to cancel courses when there is insufficient enrollment, in these cases a full refund will be issued. No transfers will be allowed from one term to another term. If a class is cancelled during the term, these hours will be rescheduled and made up. However, if a student misses a class, no rescheduling or make up classes occur.
