Speaking as a Leader

Introduction & Background:

The ability to speak with clarity, conviction and influence is critical to leadership. To be truly effective, leaders must be able to inspire action every time they speak – from formal and informal presentations to conference calls, one-on-one conversations, impromptu discussions and Q and A sessions. Speaking as a Leader® meets this goal by enabling participants to speak as polished, inspirational leaders in every interaction.

In this program, you will learn how to lead every time you communicate. The underlying objective of the program is to help participants become more influential through their communication. You will learn the most effective method of conveying your ideas so that others are inspired to act on them.

You will work closely with an experienced communication coach from The Humphrey Group®, who will guide you to speak with an inspirational message, persuasive structure, compelling language and the physical and vocal presence of a confident leader.

This highly practical program will give you tools and techniques you can implement immediately. During the program, you will engage in a variety of hands-on workshops and role-plays. You will create scripts, fine-tune your delivery and practice leading through challenging conversations. Your skill development will be enhanced by videotaped feedback and guidance by your communications coach.

Refund Policy

Cancellations received at least ten (10) business days in advance of the course commencement date will receive a full refund. Cancellations received less than ten (10) business days prior to the course commencement date will be subject to a $500 administration fee. Cancellations received less than three (3) business days prior to the course commencement date will be subject to full course tuition cost. Non-attendance will incur full course tuition cost. Fees subject to change without notice. Program Transfer Policy: One course transfer will be permitted without penalty if the cancellation request is received more than ten (10) business days prior to the course start date. Program transfers within ten (10) business days of the course start date will be subject to a $300 administration fee. Alternate program transfers may be approved dependent on course availability. Transfer requests must be scheduled within six (6) months of the initial purchase. Applicants will be responsible for any price difference in program fees at the time of the request. Each subsequent transfer request will be subject to $300 administration fee.
